Perceptions of Post 9/11 Veterans

Through a recent survey, Got Your 6 has released an infographic illustrating the perceptions most Americans have when asked about today’s Veterans, specifically those who have served since September 11, 2001. While most believe that these Veterans are assets to the community, there is demonstrated in these statistics a negative stigma associated with being “damaged goods.”

The conclusion drawn by this graphic is that Veterans are seen as both “Heroes” and “Broken,” which could translate into the product as “Damaged Leaders”.

However, they also conclude that there is momentum to shift this perception.
