Military Times, the globally published newspaper by Gannett Company, released a report last week that recognized dozens of companies as “Best for Vets” in 2014.
Among these companies nationwide were eight companies certified under the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program.
Capital One Financial led the pack of V3-certified companies in the report, followed by URS Federal Services, ManTech International, LMI, Leidos, Dominion Resources, Kearney & Co., and Enterprise Holdings.
Over the past two years in the V3 Program, these companies have committed to at least 1,743 Veteran hires in Virginia alone, and have reported at least 1,169 actual Veteran hires so far, with reports still coming in.
The “Best for Vets” report is an annual distribution of companies throughout the United States based on a 90-question survey. To view the entire report, click here.
